Plum Pretty is above and beyond excited about returning to The Gray Door Market's Vintage + Home Decor Show this spring.
Plum Pretty Decor and Design is kicking off their 2017 antique and vintage show season at The Vintage Market Days in Asheville, NC March 17-19. After a small little winter break Plum Pretty is back and bringing a lot of new things to the 2017 show season. Some of those new things will debut at Vintage Market Days Asheville.
Southern Charm at the Farm is the result of two local business owners who met on Social Media, and wanted to bring something MORE to their community. Hosting the show at a new venue this year called Willstella Farms in Kernersville, NC it is sure to be a spectacular event!
The Nester aka Myguillyn is hosting a show in Midland, NC on her adorable 13 acres farm October 22nd. Myquillyn is the author of the oh so popular book The Nesting Place. If you haven't read it I highly recommend it! Such a great book on how to find beauty in everyday imperfect life.
"Enjoy 70 hand-selected vendors who will bring antique & vintage goods, plus a range of handcrafted jewelry, handmade art and repurposed pieces... including special-made items to be auctioned for the Sheryl Crow Repurposed Quilt for Charity Project!"
Plum Pretty is more than excited to be back at City Farmhouse for their first ever Summer Pop-Up Fair inside The Factory at Franklin. I was a vendor at their Holiday Pop-up where Kim tested the waters about moving the big Summer and Fall Fair from the farm out in Leiper's Fort into The Factory at Franklin- and it was a hit! Not only do you not have to worry over mother nature but the atmosphere and setting inside the factory is prefect for such an event.
Starting Friday at 4pm is the Preview Party. This gives you the chance to shop first and get exclusive access to the fair before anyone else on Saturday. Preview party tickets can be purchased here.
Preview Party Passes include:
FIRST CHANCE TO SHOP
COMPLIMENTARY WINE AND BEER
Trust me you don't want to miss this party!
Saturday is general admission. But don't worry there will still be lots of treasures left because myself and most vendors will restock. So even if you came out to the preview you may want to make another day of it and come back to see what's new.
I have been collecting since City Farmhouse's last show in November and I have a lot of unique finds I have been saving just for this show! If you attended the Holiday Fair and remember those chicken feeder center pieces I had that I sold out on the preview night that everybody wanted.... Well I scored some more and I will be bringing them to the Summer Fair!
My booth will be packed with old books, ironstone, farmhouse tables (one early 1900's in original condition that I swoon over everytime I see it), custom painted furniture, dried french lavender, french soaps, antique crystal chandeliers, and tons of other farmhouse fresh finds.
Can't wait to be back at City Farmhouse! Buy your preview tickets now.... You don't want to miss this show!
The Old Lucketts Store is a small business located in Leesburg, VA and is a sought after destination for antique and vintage shoppers all around the US. "Since opening in 1996, the shop and property has expanded to include their design shop, a monthly interior design showcase where everything is for sale; several signature events including their annual Spring Market that draws thousands from all over the United States; and most recently, their online store, Shop Lucketts which offers their signature Vintage Hip style from the comfort of your own home." -Lucketts
Plum Pretty Decor and Design is honored to be part of such a legendary show. I remember back when I first started following Miss Mustard Seed (right before she launched her first book "Inspired You") and following along with her as she prepped and set up for Lucketts Spring Market. Well now I get to set up along side her as a vendor at the same market I swooned over years ago.
If you live within driving distance, even road trip distance, you're going to want to hop in your car (actually you better bring a truck) and head to the Lucketts Spring Market May 20th-22nd. The Old Lucketts Store grounds is going to be packed with over 200 premier antique and vintage vendors selling furniture, architectural elements, lamps, home decor items, glass & pottery, concrete / iron / lawn & garden, fabrics / textiles / vintage clothing, vintage findings, paper collectibles and much more.
Come find Plum Pretty Decor and Design our booth will be packed with old books, ironstone, farmhouse tables, custom painted furniture, dried french lavender, french soaps, antique crystal chandeliers, and tons of other farmhouse fresh finds.
Follow along on Instagram as I post sneak peeks of items I will be bringing to Lucketts.

April 29th & 30th, 2016 8 am - 5 pm
The Liberty Antiques Festival is held just twice a year, over 400 dealers from more than 25 states pack this 100-acre farm near downtown Liberty, North Carolina. Come dig through the past to find today's treasures. It's the way it used to be - NO CRAFTS OR REPRODUCTIONS - just truckloads of antiques and collectibles.
I'm excited to head back to Liberty for the second time this spring. It being the closest show to my home (about 25 mins) and the closest to my clients I always see lots of familiar faces.
This is my first show for 2016 and I have spent the last several months building my inventory- and I have a ton! Lots of new furniture pieces, farm tables, ironstone, architectural, and industrial pieces.
I started praying last year at the festival for pretty weather at the next one because it ALWAYS rains. But that doesn't stop the festival! We are there rain or shine. Some advise- bring your rain boots.
The Liberty Antiques Festival is one of the largest shows I participate in- with 400+ vendors it can be overwhelming to say the least. Before ever setting up at Liberty I was a shopper at the festival. I have found some of my best finds at Liberty.
So as a past shopper here are some tips on shopping Liberty:
- Start at one end and work your way across aisle by aisle.
- If you see something you really want- GET IT! I can't tell you how many times I have found something at Liberty said I would think about it, go back to get it, and it be gone, or I can't find it again...
- Each aisle is labeled with a letter. If you find something and decide to think about it write down the aisle letter and booth number so you can atleast find the booth again.
- Bring cash! Most all the vendors are cash only. There is an ATM at the entrance of the festival that you can use also, but I believe it charges you $3.00 or so to use it.
- Rain gear: rain jacket, rain boots, umbrella, etc....
- Last but not least come by and see me!
Check out my preview post from last years Liberty Antiques Fall Festival here: Liberty Antiques Festival Preview
I will also be posting a preview for the spring festival the night before the show starts.
I hope to see you at the Liberty Antiques Festival in Liberty, NC April 29th & 30th!
