This weeks challenge is how to pick the perfect front door paint color. I had a neighbor who fell in love with my mint blue door and asked me how I choose such a unique color for my front door.

With Spring comes the time for home improvements and sprucing up your curb appeal. Painting your front door a new color is a very inexpensive way to add a little bit of curb appeal.

Here are three points of advise when selecting your front door paint color.

1. Don't be afraid of color- if color is what you want. Painting your front door can be that subtle pop of color for your homes exterior.

2. Pick a color that complements your brick/siding/rock and other exterior features. You don't want a color that clashes or competes with other features.

3. Have fun! Pick a color that appeals to you and will have the neighbors taking a second look.
